Education
J. I. earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Chadron (Nebraska) State College in 1970, in Art and Business Administration.
Earlier in her career, she taught grade school and high school art, and recently has been teaching classes and workshops in drawing, beginning watercolor and individualized drawing as an adjunct instructor for Western Nebraska Community College, as well as for the many home-schooled children in the area.
For most years since 2002 she has been a Fine Art Presenter at the Western Nebraska Community College Career Fair.
