About the Artist
Published works:
- J. I.'s artwork has been published on the cover of a book, A Place We Call Home, The Ernie Osborn Story of Cheyenne County
- Her work has appeared in many tourism magazines for the Cheyenne County Visitors Committee since 1997.
- In 2000, her art was used in the events book for the 46th annual Brush Open Rodeo as part of the 5th annual Golden West Art Show advertisement, in Brush, Colorado

Education
J. I. earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Chadron (Nebraska) State College in 1970, in Art and Business Administration.
Earlier in her career, she taught grade school and high school art, and recently has been teaching classes and workshops in drawing, beginning watercolor and individualized drawing as an adjunct instructor for Western Nebraska Community College, as well as for the many home-schooled children in the area.
In March, 2002, 2003, and 2005 she was a Fine Art Presenter at the Western Nebraska Community College Career Fair.
